So, what’s so special about Paris? You may ask. Well it could be quite simple for me to give you a whole list of reasons why, but instead i’ll give you my top 5.
-1. Paris is indeed, the city of Love, so whether it’s a Picnic on the Eiffel Tower, throwing your key down the Seine River after closing a lock in Pont des Arts with your other half, or a lunch date in a Café in Champs Elysees. It’s definitely the most romantic city in the world, there’s couples in love everywhere and the ambience makes you feel as if your’s might be just around the corner.
-2. If you believe Museums are boring Paris will prove you otherwise, whether it’s the Louvre with more than 35,000 pieces of artwork, the Museé d´Orsay with its innovative train station concept or the Pompidou which reminds you that not all museums are concrete and 1930’s; Paris has over 70 different Museums and I’m sure you’ll find one you’ll definitely like.
-3. Parisian Food! To be honest this could easily be my number one in this list but I decided to give it away for this one time. There is no better way to know a city than through it’s food and Paris is definitely not the exception; French food is famous because of it’s three top ingredients: butter, butter & more butter. Steak Frites, Pain au chocolat, Crêpes, Macarons, Croque Madame, Escargots, Terrine or simply a Baguette, the food will never disappoint if you know where to go & what to order. (Btw Paris has 70 Michelin starred restaurants so it’s safe to say you’ll find one you’ll love).
-4. Paris at night… need I say more? They say every city is beautiful at night, but in my opinion I believe no city really compares to Paris. Every corner is lit with different lights and lanterns, the reflection of boats on the Seine is breathtaking, but the real cherry on top is the Eiffel Tower! With it’s twinkling lights every hour, if this doesn’t make you fall in love with this city then I don’t know what will.
5.- And finally the ambience, I know, this may sound vague, but speaking frankly there’s only a handful of cities that make you feel at home even if you’re hundreds of miles away, and Paris is definitely one. It’s the epicenter of culture, fashion, style, travel and gastronomy all mixed together to create this chaotic but romantically beautiful city that makes every stroll down a street more magical than the last one.

Se podrán preguntar ¿Qué tiene París que la hace tan especial? Sería súper fácil para mí darles una lista entera de razones por qué deberían visitarla, pero mejor les doy las 5 principales.
-1. París de verdad es, la ciudad del amor, así que sea un picnic en la Torre Eiffel, arrojar tu llave al Río Sena después de cerrar un candado en el Pont des Arts con tu otra mitad, o ir a una cita en un café en la avenida Champs Elysees. Definitivamente es la ciudad más romántica del mundo, hay parejas enamoradas en todas partes y el ambiente te hace sentir que la tuya podría estar a la vuelta de la esquina.
-2. Si crees que los museos son aburridos París es la prueba de que no todos lo son, sea el Louvre con más de 35,000 piezas de arte, el Museé d´Orsay con su concepto innovativo de estación de tren o el Pompidou que te recuerda que no todos los museos son de concreto y construidos en 1930´s; París tiene más de 70 Museos y estoy segura que encontrarás uno que te guste.
-3. Comida Francesa! Para ser honesta este podría ser el número uno de la lista pero decidí no ponerlo hasta arriba sólo esta vez. No hay mejor manera de conocer una ciudad que a través de su comida y París definitivamente no es la excepción; la comida Francesa es famosa por sus tres ingredientes principales: mantequilla, mantequilla y más mantequilla! Pain au chocolat, Crêpes, Macarons, Croque Madame, Escargots, Terrina o simplemente una Baguette, la comida nunca te va a decepcionar si sabes dónde comer y qué pedir. (París tiene 70 restaurantes Michelin así que es seguro decir que puedes encontrar uno que te guste).
-4. París en la noche….necesito decir más? Dicen que todas las ciudades en la noche son más bonitas, pero en mi opinión ninguna se compara con París. Todas las esquinas están iluminadas con diferentes luces y focos, el reflejos de los barcos en el río Sena es hermoso, pero lo que no tiene precio es la Torre Eiffel! Con sus luces tintineantes cada hora, si esto no hace que te enamores de esta ciudad, no se que sí.
-5.Finalmente el ambiente, yo sé que esto puede sonar vago, pero hablando en serio solo hay un número de ciudades que te hacen sentir en casa aunque estés miles de kilómetros lejos de ella y París es una. Es el epicentro de cultura, moda, estilo, viajeros y gastronomía mezclados para crear una ciudad igualmente caótica como romántica.
