The province of Quebec, nothing makes you realize that you are entering it as much as seeing all the road sings slowly start to change from English to French. We arrived at our hotel starving since it was past midday and we hadn’t eaten all day long. We decided to go eat at “Reubens” and this was probably one of the BEST recommendations we had in all of our trip! Then we strolled down the streets doing some sightseeing and shopping (we even went to the movies and saw Wonderwoman!👊🏼#GirlBoss). The rest of our days in Montreal were a mix of a little bit of everything, we decided to buy the Hop on Hop because it was raining and we wanted to avoid getting wet as much as possible, we went to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and even got the chance to see an exhibition by Jean Paul Gaultier!, the St. Josephs Oratory on top of the mountains, the Mount Royal Park and even went to Old Montreal to get some lunch and eat some ice cream! One highlight of this city would definitely be the “Aura” show we got the chance to see at the Notre Dame cathedral, this was great because all the cathedral is illuminated with hundreds of lights and it’s just a magical show. Walking alongside the river is also a must when you visit Montreal, most tourists walk here and you can find so many different restaurants it’s incredible! Some of our top food pics for Montreal would have to be “Europea” (best restaurant of the whole Canada trip!), “Reuben’s”, “SoupeSoup”, “El Carte”. Even though we had to leave Montreal after some days, this beautiful city and its delicious food will definitely be accompanying us for a long time. Merçi Montreal!
La provincia de Quebec, nada te dice que estás llegando a ella más que los letreros de la carretera poco a poco vayan cambiando de Inglés a Francés. Llegamos a nuestro hotel muertos de hambre ya que era más de medio día y no habíamos comido en todo el día. Decidimos ir a comer a un lugar llamado “Reuben’s” y esta fue probablemente una de las MEJORES recomendaciones de todo el viaje. Después caminamos por la ciudad viendo tiendas y boutiques (al final del día hasta nos metimos al cine a ver la película de Wonderwoman!👊🏼 #GirlBoss). Los demás de nuestros días en Montreal fueron unas mezcla de un poco de todo, decidimos comprar el camión de Hop on Hop off por que no dejaba de llover y no queríamos mojarnos, fuimos al Museo de Artes Finas de Montreal y hasta pudimos ver una exposición de Jean Paul Gaultier!, la Catedral de Oración de San Joséhasta arriba de las montañas, y el Parque Mount Royal y hasta fuimos al viejo Montreal a comer y buscar un muy buen helado! Una de las cosas más padres que pudimos hacer en esta ciudad fue el show de “Aura” un espectáculo de luces en la catedral de Notre Dame, fue algo increíble ya que iluminan toda la catedral con miles de luces y es verdaderamente mágico. Caminar alado del río cerca del viejo Montreal también es una muy buena idea, hay mucho turista aquí pero puedes encontrar un poco de todo para comer o conocer. Los mejores restaurantes para nosotros durante nuestra estancia en Montreal definitivamente tendrían que ser “Europea” (el mejor restaurante de todo el viaje a Canadá ), “Reuben’s”, “SoupeSoup”, “El Carte”. Aunque tuvimos que irnos después de algunos días, esta hermosa ciudad y su muy buena comida nos estarán acompañando por un muy buen rato! Merçi Montreal!
