Peru was a country I’d seen in movies and heard about my parents hundreds of times when I was little; but it wasn’t until I visited that I understood the real magic of this country. Here’s some of the reasons why this Latin American country stole my heart and made me want to visit it as soon as possible.
Firstly the scenery, Peru is hands down completely beautiful! The everlasting green, mountains, and architecture makes you feel at peace and as if you could enjoy it forever. The architecture from the Incas and from the people nowadays are also stunning, they’re all worth the visit!
The food in Peru is to die for! I’d heard about it before, but trying Pisco Sour, Ceviche Peruano, Cuy, Alpaca (I know some people might want to kill me for this one) and hundreds of other dishes made me want to return to Peru and try their food all over again.
People in Peru are so lovely! They’re all so joyful and proud of their country, and this is something I really admired in them! They have high standards about their country and I feel that this is something that can be harder to find in our world now a days.
And last but not least, Machu Picchu! (I will have a complete other post where I’ll go into the details of this Wonder of the World) But it’s impossible not to fall in love with this architectural beauty! The detail, the size and the immensity of this Citadel make you want to stay there forever! The climb is definitely worth the view!
Peru is a country we visited shortly, and even though it’s been only a few years since we went I’m already missing it. This is a destination I truly know I’ll be going back to!
Perú era un país el que había visto en películas y del cual había escuchado de mis papas cientos de veces cuando era chiquita; pero no fue hasta que lo visité que pude darme cuenta de la magia que este país tiene. Aquí hay algunas razones del por qué este país me robo el corazón y me dejó queriendo más.
Primero que nada, las vistas! Es impresionante la cantidad de verde y de montañas y valles que Perú tiene! Todas te dejan con la boca abierta! La arquitectura tanto de los Incas como la moderna también son super bonitas y todas son diferentes a su manera.
La comida en Perú es lo más rico del mundo! Ya la había escuchado antes pero de verdad no hay nada como probarla! Desde el Pisco Sour, Ceviche Peruano, Cuy, hasta la Alpaca (no me maten los vegetarianos!) pero de verdad la comida es deliciosa y te deja con un antojo que nunca se te va a ir.
Las personas en Perú en verdad son demasiado amables! Todos son muy felices y me encanta como hablan de su país, de verdad ponen su nombre en lo alto y eso es algo que hoy en día no muchas personas lo hacen.
Y finalmente Machu Picchu! (habrá otro blog completo hablando sobre esta maravilla del mundo) La verdad es que es imposible no poner esta Ciudad Inca en la lista, en lo personal Machu Picchu superó por completo mis expectativas y me dejó sin palabras! El largo camino definitivamente vale la pena!
Perú es un país que me fascino y cambió mis ideales de el completamente! Me da mucho gusto poder decir que este sí es un país el cual me propondré ir en el futuro, ya que una vez no fue suficiente!
