There is nothing more cliché in this world than to be in love with a city like Paris, but to be honest, it’s quite impossible not to. We arrived on a hot summer day, the vibrant and romantic city welcomed us with it’s beautiful streets filled with people walking past cafés and boulangeries, bikes strolling alongside the Seine River and tourists filling up the streets to take pictures of any corner that could seem “Magnifique”.
Our hotel “Hotel Du Louvre” was an excellent choice because we were just in the city center and were walking distance of many of Paris’ most prestigious spots like the Louvre, the Opera, Pont Des Arts, & Le Palais Royale. To be honest the heat was quite something, so we did decide to take some Ubers from time to time to avoid getting exhausted.
Paris never seems to disappoint us, we did a little bit of everything while we were there; a concert at the Sainte Chapelle, visit to some of Paris’ most iconic museums like Le Louvre, Musee L’Orangerie, Musee d’Orsay, Centre Georges Pompidou and so many others. We ate french food like crazy (it’s impossible not to!) and walked all around the city checking out some of it’s most iconic spots to take pics!
Our stay was about a week long, but as they say what’s good never lasts and just like that our trip was over and we were heading to Charles De Gaulle to board our next adventure. I fall in love with this city more and more every time I return, au revoir Paris, we’ll definitely see each other soon.
No hay nada más cliché en este mundo que estar enamorado con una ciudad como París, pero siendo honesta es casi imposible no estarlo. Llegamos en un día caliente de verano, la ciudad tan vibrante y romántica como siempre nos recibió con sus calles llenas de personas caminando por cafés y boulangeries; bicicletas rodando al lado del Río Sena y turistas llenando las calles para tomar foto de cualquier cosa que pudiera parecer “magnífica”.
Nuestro hotel “Hotel Du Louvre” fue una excelente idea ya que estaba justo en el centro de la ciudad y podíamos caminar a muchos de los lugares más icónicos de París como el museo Louvre, la Ópera, el puente de los candados “Pont des Arts” y el Palacio Real. Para ser sincera el calor estaba muy fuerte así que de vez en cuando tomábamos algunos Ubers para no agotarnos caminando.
Parece que París nunca nos decepciona, hicimos un poco de todo mientras estuvimos ahí, un concierto en la Sainte Chapelle, visitamos algunos de los museos más importantes de París como el Louvre, Musee L’Orangerie, Musee d’Orsay, Centre Georges Pompidou y algunos otros. Comimos comida francesa como locos (es imposible no comer, es demasiado buena!) y caminamos alrededor de la ciudad conociendo nuevos lugares sin perder la oportunidad de tomar una buena foto.
Nuestra estancia fue como de una semana pero como dicen lo bueno nunca dura y antes de que pudiéramos darnos cuenta nuestro viaje había acabado y estábamos en camino al aeropuerto Charles De Gaulle a abordar nuestra próxima aventura. Me enamoro de esta ciudad cada vez que vengo un poco más, au revoir París espero nos veamos muy pronto.
