Wine has always been a very important drink to me, as I’d already shared earlier Wine has always been in my life. Which is why I was so excited to be visiting the Cuna de Tierra Vineyards this last Saturday. This vineyard is located in Dolores Hidalgo and is about 40 minutes away from the magical town of San Miguel de Allende.
As you enter the vineyard you see hundreds of meters of land all full of vines covering all the terrain, and the road leads you in between all the vines so you can admire the beautiful landscape that this company has created. But what’s most impressive isn’t the land but the architecture.
Cuna de Tierra has won many distinguished prizes not only for its good wine but for the magnificent architecture that the wine cellars display. They have a restaurant in the middle of the vineyards that offers some great mexican gastronomy while you admire the beautiful location where you’re at; not to mention you can taste their delicious wines and really appreciate the hard work this place has gotten.
If you’re ever near Dolores or San Miguel and are looking for some very good food and excellent wine then visiting Cuna de Tierra should definitely be a must to you! The ambience is completely peaceful, you can get a tour of the whole place and I promise you that you’ll leave with a full smile on your face.
El vino siempre ha sido muy importante para mí, como ya se los había dicho antes el Vino siempre ha tenido una parte en mi vida. Por lo cual me emocioné mucho cuando mi prima me invitó a conocer los viñedos de Cuna de Tierra el Sábado pasado. Estos viñedos están localizados en Dolores Hidalgo y están a masomenos 40 minutos de San Miguel de Allende.
Mientras entras a los viñedos puedes ver cientos de metros de planta de vid (la planta de donde salen las uvas) que cubren todo el terreno, el camino te lleva entre los plantíos de las uvas y puedes admirar lo grande que es el lugar. Pero lo más impresionante no es la tierra si no la arquitectura.
Cuna de Tierra ha ganado muchos premios no sólo por su buen vino si no por la arquitectura que se ha desarrollado aquí, entre las bodegas y el restaurante es un lugar que vale la pena ver. Puedes comer aquí y probar muchos platillos de gastronomía mexicana realmente buenos, al igual que pedir un buen vino y realmente admirar el trabajo que la empresa ha puesto en este lugar.
Si algún día estás cerca de Dolores o de San Miguel y estas en busca de buena comida y buen vino entonces realmente recomiendo que visiten Cuna de Tierra! El ambiente es completamente de paz, puedes pedir un tour por todo el viñedo y les prometo que los van a dejar con una sonrisa enorme.
